KATRINA PHAM

Multimedia Journalist (she/her)

Welcome to my page!

I'm currently an audience engagement intern with the Marshall Project through the Dow Jones News Fund. After I wrap up at the Marshall Project, I'll be going to Borderless Magazine this fall as an audience engagement reporter.

I'm a multimedia journalist with a passion for identity, equity, culture and immigration news. I've written investigations, features and explainers,  and have also created a variety of social media content as a fellow with Borderless Magazine.

Before Borderless, I reported and produced content for In These Times, ABC 7 Chicago, The Yappie and my student paper, The Daily Northwestern.

This site features my print reporting, multimedia content (audio/video) and audience engagement samples. I'm interested in doing more work in digital news writing, social media content creation and audience engagement.

I graduated from Northwestern University with my Bachelor of Science in Journalism and minors in Chinese and Asian American Studies in 2023.

Please feel free to email me if you want to talk or have questions!
